Well, I’ve Become Pretty Bad At This.
I know it’s been about 5 months since I posted anything, so I’ll take this opportunity to tell you what’s been going on lately.
- I went and auditioned for the BFA musical theatre program at Rockford College and MADE IT. I’m so blessed and excited to be going there in the fall!
- I fell in love and now I’m falling out of it. Which is always fun.
- Our OAP went so wonderfully. We advanced all the way to Region and then fell out, but we ended with a good show, so I’m alright. All good things must come to an end.
- Speaking of good things ending, I competed at Regionals for Poetry Interp yesterday, and I got knocked out in prelims. I was NOT happy about it, and I’m still upset because I didn’t end my UIL career with a good read, but I suppose it is what it is.
- I’m now working on GREASE at a high school in another town as a crew member (first time ever!) and backstage singer. The director couldn’t justify putting us on stage a week and a half before opening, but I’m still excited. On the last show day, I get to be onstage if I learn the dances this week. Which is also cool.
So there’s the major things that have been happening in my life lately. I don’t really know what else to write, so I’m just gonna go now. I will be trying to do this a bit more often though, because I miss having this little outlet.
